Forespar
The Forespar multihull sprit kit makes it easy to equip a catamaran without a bowsprit with a bow sprit to improve downwind performance with reaching spinnakers and floating sails (drifters). Each sprit is sized for the boat, can be fitted with a continuous-furl drum or a custom configuration, then raised or removed depending on the installation.

Why Choose the Forespar Multihull Sprit Kit?
On a catamaran without a bowsprit, the Forespar sprit kit opens up downwind sailing and simplifies the use of asymmetric sails and drifters. A removable and relatively simple solution to integrate, it suits both cruising and racing sailors.
The kit is designed for retrofit on an existing multihull: upgrading from a boat without bowsprit to a configuration optimised for downwind sailing (reaching spinnaker, drifter). The sprit pole is in marine alloy 6063-T6, clear anodised to military standards.
The kit includes the essential mounting hardware: sprit pole, UTS cross support, end fitting and stainless tangs for shrouds, outer shrouds (to be supplied depending on rig). Depending on the installation, the sprit can be raised clear of the deck or removed.
