Furling boom for Oceanis 38

Installation this week of a Leisure Furl furling boom as part of a refit of an Océanis 38: its owner wanted easy and safe navigation by eliminating the constraints of reefing.

No need to lower, furl and leave the safety of the cockpit to handle the sail, he will now simply roll and unfurl the mainsail from the cockpit in complete safety using the furling line!

The Tides Marine mainsail track system: simple and effective!

Our sailing master partners and rigging specialists describe the Tides Marine track as a simple, reliable and easy to install system. Ideal as part of a refit, the Tides Marine rail with sliders is present in most sailboat upgrades where ease of handling and reduced friction are essential. The one-piece rail is extruded to slide over any model mast. Low-friction stainless steel cars require little to no maintenance, an occasional fresh water rinse is all it takes, and your mainsail will glide up and down every time !

Ubi Maior’s RT REGATA range

Designed to more performing vessels, the RT REGATA range, collects 30 years of evolution of this type of product.

These products are able to withstand high loads while maintaining its low friction ability.

The RT ULTRA bloks are an evolution of the RT REGATA line, but its elements are lighter, smaller and can bear much higher loads thanks to textile attachments that are centralised in relation to the load.

Ubi Maior furlers

The FR Furlers for headsails (code zero, gennaker,…) proposed by Ubi Maior are also unique patented systems that are extremely reliable and functional.

Validated by teams such as Team New Zealand or Alex Thomson’s team on Hugo Boss, they are perfectly adapted to dinghies and sailing boats.

The drum and head are machined from a single piece of 6082T6 aluminium and contain cylindrical roller bearings ideal for this application.

Compact and lightweight, the REWIND® is a ratchet option that makes furling much easier and allows the buckle to be disengaged without the risk of unintentional unfurling of the sail.

This quick release feature allows the sailor to deal with any unexpected problems, thus increasing safety on board.

Optimization of the ATN spinnaker sleeve

Already particularly effective and recognized by all its users as being the reference, the ATN spinnaker sleeve now presents a notable improvement from 12 meters in length.

The gliding and protection of the sail are now clearly optimized during hoisting and lowering thanks to a foam-lined encirclement replacing the classic polyester bowl.
