Accessories for sails
Machined from aluminum and anodized, the Ubi Maior slat boxes are available in all sizes and allow the tension to be easily adjusted even when sailing.

Also ultra-light and solid, the Ubi Maior T-bones make it possible to quickly link all kinds of halyards, sheets, pulleys, pad-eyes and subtly replace the karabiners for headsail.

Thanks to its design department, Ubi Maior is able to quickly and easily produce this equipment, even in small series, also all types of custom products tailored to your sailboat with a wide range of colors and the possibility of laser engraving the logos or designs of your choice.

The furling boom benchmark

In 40 years more than 3000 sailboats have been equipped with the Furl mainsail furling and reduction system manufactured by Forespar and distributed by Nautex.

The Furl Leisure furling boom has the advantage of easily adapting to any type of existing rigging and makes it possible to keep an efficient battened mainsail whether it is fully unwound or reduced.

New range of ball bearing blocks
Designed for all types of cruising sailboats, the YC ball bearing blocks manufactured by Ubi Maior and distributed by Nautex meet the highest standards of design, strength and versatility. Each component is manufactured by machining and no structural part is cast or molded, guaranteeing extraordinary load and longevity capacities. Available from the 40 mm diameter, these ball pulleys can be provided with either a traditional mechanical connection (shackle) or textile (dyneema), as desired.
A remarkable genoa furler

The Jiber genoa furler manufactured by Ubi Maior and distributed by Nautex is remarkable in several respects.
The sail can be attached to the forestay using 2 systems: small straps with T bone, or a zipped sheath. In both cases the jib can be put on and taken off very quickly and much faster than conventional reels.
Not having aluminum elements around the forestay means that you save several tens of kilos compared to the traditional system, which may seem little but this weight counts a lot especially when they are in the heights!
An additional benefit is better performance upwind thanks to reduced drag and drift at the leading edge allowing the boat to make more course and sail faster.
In addition to being able to adjust the halyard tension at any time, the small dimensions of the Jiber allow you to equip your boat with larger head sails.
No need to choose between the performance of the tuff-luff or the ease of a winder, here you have the advantages of both in one system.

Extraordinary bushing bearing blocks

Ubi Maior’s X3M bushing bearing blocks offer an excellent load-to-dimension-to-weight ratio. Technopolymer bearings allow incredibly heavy loads, even static, and require no maintenance. All aluminum / stainless steel elements (or titanium optional) are anodized with silver ions to prevent bacterial growth on the sheathed Dyneema loop. Distributed by Nautex, they combine technology, functionality and design (winners of the Seatec Quality Design Award).

In the press

2 flagship products, the ATN spinnaker snuffer and the tacker, are highlighted in an online article in Boat Magazine, in the Equipment Manufacturers section of BoatIndustry.

A benchmark for many sailors, this high-quality equipment has been designed to facilitate and secure the manœuvers of all boaters.

Top blocks

Ubi Maior’s RT pulleys can withstand very heavy loads while maintaining low friction thanks to the excellent performance of the integrated rollers. They are made with an aluminum and titanium alloy (EVE models) ensuring resistance and longevity that exceed all expectations. Distributed by Nautex, these pulleys are the result of more than 30 years of evolution.

Testimonial

The sailtrack Tides Marine is unanimous, especially on the port of Minimes in La Rochelle with owners of sailboats like Jean-Luc Boisseau who installed the system himself on his RM 9.50 m 10 years ago :

“The installation was easy, lasts very well with no maintenance, and the most compared to conventional trolleys is that we cannot lose balls since they are all made of stainless steel. Their small size induces a lower stacking when the sail is lowered , it is much easier to reach the halyard !

The fact that it is manufactured in one piece, any risk of blocking the slides is eliminated.

In addition, the material used in its construction is a polyethylene PTFE for an incomparable glide without friction: hoisting the mainsail becomes very easy and the lowering is instantaneous as soon as the halyard is shocked. “

Do not wait any longer, find out and order yours from your sailmaker or rigger.

The furlers (for genoa, code zero, gennaker, …) offered by Ubi Maior are extremely reliable and functional. Validated by teams such as Team New Zealand or that of Alex Thomson on Hugo Boss, they are perfectly suited to dinghies and sailboats. The drum and head machined from a single piece of 6082T6 aluminum contain cylindrical roller bearings ideal for this use. Compact and light, the REWIND® is the very first patented furler with ratchets that greatly facilitate winding and allow the disengagement of the loop without the risk of involuntary unfolding of the sail. This quick release functionality of the loop makes it possible to deal with any unexpected problem which undeniably increases safety on board.

Discover the tacker

Forget the bowsprit!

Very easy to use, the tack pad or tacker allows your spinnaker to slide on the rolled up front sail: you gain in efficiency because your sail keeps a shape perfectly adapted to each wind condition.

The snap-in fastener attached to the quick-release ring makes it easy to release the tack of the spinnaker when sloping.

The ATN tacker is distributed by #Nautex, more information on https://services.cloud4.sbg.meosis.fr/nautex-international/en/atn-products/tacker.html

Discover the ATN spinnaker sleeve

No more worries with your spinnaker!

The ATN spinnaker sock distributed by Nautex will allow you to send or lower your sail safely, whether you are alone or with a reduced crew.

Indeed, the lateral sheath, all along the main sheath in which the control tip is inserted, will prevent the latter from becoming tangled with your sail.

Color contrasting with the main sheath, this side sheath allows you to immediately see if there is a turn in the sock.

In addition, a swivel will allow you to jibe without twisting the sock.

The fabric of the sock, made of porous polyester, light and resistant, will allow your spinnaker to dry, even when it is placed in its storage bag.

A maintenance-free system

Already widely distributed in the United States and now more and more in Europe, the Tides Marine sailtrack has attracted many boaters with its multiple advantages to hoist and drop its mainsail very easily.

Here is one: the fact that it is made of polyethylene with a very high degree of polymerization, it requires absolutely no maintenance!

This unique system distributed by Nautex is available from your sailboat, rigger or preparer: do not hesitate to request it for any order or request for information.
